Andhra Pradesh: Dy CM T-10 Cricket Tournament to Kick Off on Sept. 2

Visakhapatnam: The "Deputy CM T-10 Cricket Tournament" will commence on September 2, in honour of Deputy Chief Minister and chief of the Jana Sena K. Pawan Kalyan, on his birthday. Visakhapatnam district president of Jana Sena Vamsi Krishna Srinivas is overseeing the event and emphasised the importance of community support for its success.

The 23-day tournament will be held at the GVMC Indira Gandhi Stadium in Visakhapatnam’s South constituency, featuring 98 teams—one from each ward of the Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC). Teams, consisting of 14 players each, will compete in a knockout format with five matches scheduled daily.

The top three teams will be awarded cash prizes: Rs 50,000 for first place, Rs 30,000 for second place, and Rs 10,000 for third place. Participants are required to wear white T-shirts with blue or black track trousers.

Interested teams must register by August 28 with a Rs 1,000 entry fee payable to the Jana Sena headquarters.
