Andhra Pradesh Govt Committed to Advancing Education: Minister Janardhan Reddy
Kurnool: Roads and buildings minister B.C. Janardhan Reddy emphasised the alliance government’s commitment to advancing the education sector in the state. On Wednesday, he inaugurated a new classroom building at the Mandal Parishad Government Primary School in Telugupet, Banaganapalle.
He stated that under the leadership of education minister Nara Lokesh, the government has initiated revolutionary reforms in the education sector based on input from teachers and parents. Addressing the gathering, he highlighted the government's focus on resolving pending issues in schools and enhancing infrastructure to benefit students.
The minister urged teachers and parents to take collective responsibility in shaping students’ futures. He suggested that parents dedicate at least an hour daily to their children to foster academic and personal growth, explaining that students receiving special attention are likely to excel. He also stressed the importance of games and extracurricular activities for students’ mental development.
During the event, teachers raised concerns about the lack of drinking water, a kitchen room, and a dining hall in the school. The minister promised them that these issues would be addressed promptly. Teachers, parents, students, local public representatives, and others participated in the programme.
