Andhra Pradesh Govt Committed to Fulfilling Super Six Guarantees: Minister Lokesh

Vijayawada: The state government is committed to implementing the Super Six guarantees, Education and IT minister Nara Lokesh asserted on Thursday. The Talliki Vandanam programme would certainly be implemented, he said.

In his I-Day address after unfurling the national flag at the Police Parade Grounds here, Lokesh said no welfare scheme will be withdrawn.

On infra-development, Lokesh promised that the underground drainage system between Mangalagiri and Tadepalliin Guntur would soon be completed. The pending railway project works too will be expedited. A jewellery park and a weavers’ cluster too would be established in Mangalagiri.

The minister promised the farming community that the government would stand by them and resolve their problems. Various crops being grown in 92,000 hectares in the district are recorded through the e-crop app. The state has set a target of providing 29 lakh working days this year under the Rural Employment Guarantee scheme, he said.

"Taking the Viksit Bharat-2047 goal of Prime Minister Modi as an inspiration, we are all working hard under the guidance of Chief minister Chandrababu Naidu to reach the goal of Vikasitha Andhra-2047," Lokesh said.

The district-level Vision action plan in this respect would be announced on October 2, he said.
