Andhra Pradesh High Court denies RGV’s plea for arrest protection

Hyderabad: The Andhra Pradesh High Court rejected filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma’s plea for protection from arrest. The court suggested he file a bail petition if concerned about potential arrest. Varma requested additional time for police inquiry. In response, the court advised him to petition before the police.
Previously, during the release of his film “Vyooham,” Varma posted controversial comments about Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan. Consequently, TD Maddipadu mandal general secretary Ramalingam filed a police complaint against Varma. The police subsequently registered a case against the filmmaker.
