Andhra Pradesh: Meet with collectors, SPs today

CM to explain Vision Andhra@2047, review work of all departments

VIJAYAWADA: Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu is set to explain his government’s Vision AP 2047 plan at a one-day meeting of district collectors and SPs on Monday.

Naidu would review the performance of all the departments with special emphasis on law and order, at the meeting in the state secretariat.

This is the first meeting of collectors and SPs the CM convened after forming of the TD-led alliance government in the state. A presentation by deputy chief minister Pawan Kalyan would be another highlight of the event.

Discussions would be held on land grabbing and other Revenue-related issues. A special presentation on revenue matters will have focus on assigned lands, encroached lands and irregularities in land registrations that occurred during the last five years.

The chief minister has already released seven white papers on key subjects of state. One each was on Sand, Polavaram, Power, Amaravati, Law and Order, Excise and Finance, which were released at the recent assembly session. All these targeted the previous government for its omissions and commissions. At Monday’s meeting, the CM would discuss strategies to repair the damage to the state, as part of his Vision 2047 initiative.

The agenda for the meeting includes administrative matters, policy decisions, and implementation of social welfare schemes. Issues related to agriculture, mining and other key sectors will be discussed in detail.
