Andhra Pradesh: Pawan Orders Better Medical Care for Ill Students
Vijayawada: Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan has directed the Kakinada district collector to ensure better medical treatment for 30 girl students who fell ill at Yeleswaram Gurukul School in Kakinada district on Tuesday.
After learning that the students had been admitted to hospital with symptoms of stomach pain and diarrhoea following a meal, Pawan Kalyan contacted the Kakinada collector to enquire about their condition. He instructed the district administration to provide enhanced medical services for the students and to monitor their health regularly.
Pawan Kalyan further directed that specialist doctors be sent to Yeleswaram Hospital to treat the girls. He also ordered officials to collect and test the food samples that were served to the students.
