Andhra Pradesh: Pawan Terms Synergene Mishap Unfortunate
VIJAYAWADA: Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan on Friday expressed pain over four people getting injured in a mishap at Synergene Active Ingredients on the intervening night of Thursday and Friday at the Jawaharlal Nehru Pharma City under Pendurthi constituency in Visakhapatnam district.
“It is very unfortunate to hear about four workers from Jharkhand suffering injuries and fighting for their lives, especially considering the accident at Atchutapuram Pharma SEZ in which 17 persons have died,” Pawan Kalyan said in a statement on Friday.
He mentioned that these back-to-back mishaps at pharma companies that manufacture products using dangerous chemicals are a warning for company managements and government authorities to remain extremely vigilant.
The Deputy CM said soon after learning about the Pendurthi incident, he instructed area legislator Panchakarla Ramesh Babu to provide assistance to the injured. He assured the victims of all possible support from the NDA-alliance government in AP.
