Andhra Pradesh: Shravana Masotsavam Begins at Bhramarambika Mallikarjuna Temple
Kurnool: Shravana Masotsavam at the Bhramarambika Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple will commence on Monday, August 5, and continue till September 4.
Devotees can have Alankara Darshanam from August 15 to August 19, temple executive officer D. Peddiraju said on Saturday while reviewing with temple staff the arrangements being made during the auspicious month.
Shravana Masotsavam attracts a sizable number of devotees from the Telugu states as well as from Karnataka, Maharashtra and northern states. To manage the influx of devotees, temple authorities have adjusted the schedules of Arjita Abhishekam and darshan.

On the remaining 14 days of Shravana month, Garbhalaya Arjita Abhishekam, Samuhika Abhishekam and Kumkumarchana will continue as usual.
Alankara Darshanam will be available from August 15 to August 19 to reduce crowding.
Uchita, Sheeghra and Athi Sheeghra darshans have been arranged throughout the month, with Sheeghra Darshan tickets priced at Rs 150 and Athi Sheeghra Darshan tickets costing Rs 300. The ticket will be available online and in current booking.
Uchita Samuhika Varalakshmi Vratam will be conducted twice during the month – on the second Friday, August 16, and the fourth Friday, August 30, the executive officer explained. The Shravana Masam draws large crowds on important festivals, such as Ekadashi, Varalakshmi Vratam and Shravana Purnami.
