According to the police, 20-year-old Pallavi Reddy’s roommates found her hanging from the ceiling fan of her hostel room on Friday evening and informed the college administration.
Pallavi Reddy was a student of electronic and communication engineering (ECE) at NIT. A suicide note found in the room said her decision was her choice alone and that no one else was to blame, police sources said.
A press statement from office of Superintendent of Police, West Patna said: “We have found a suicide note from the student’s room. An FSL team has been called. We are looking into all possible angles of the case”.
