Visakhapatnam: The Bheemli police have registered a Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) case against an 18-year-old boy for allegedly deceiving a 16-year-old girl into a sexual relationship with the promise of marriage.
According to Bheemli SI Sudhakar, both the accused and the victim are minors and the case has become further complicated since the victim is reportedly six-and-a-half months pregnant.
The case was registered based on a complaint filed by the victim's mother, who accused the boy of making false promises and sexually exploiting her daughter. The SI added that they were currently investigating the matter and have taken the accused into custody.
