Anita lauds Credai for promoting home ownership

Visakhapatnam: Home minister Vangalapudi Anita emphasised the vital role that the Confederation of Real Estate Developers' Associations of India (CREDAI) plays in promoting homeownership among middle and lower-middle-class families.

Addressing the valedictory ceremony of the 10th CREDAI Property Expo held in Visakhapatnam on Sunday, she highlighted the support that the government is providing to such initiatives through measures, such as the single-window system for expediting approvals of layouts, which enhance the real estate sector's efficiency.
Anita spoke about ongoing challenges that the construction industry is facing, like sand shortages. She pointed out that recent government policies have significantly mitigated these issues.
Pendurthi MLA Panchakarla Ramesh Babu echoed Minister Anita's sentiments, praising CREDAI's contributions to national growth. He said the state government is proactive in helping builders.
The expo showcased a variety of housing options, from luxury apartments to affordable homes, allowing families to explore opportunities and discuss financing options with banks. The event served as a platform for direct interaction between developers and potential buyers, fostering trust and transparency in the market.
