Vijayawada: AP Assembly session is likely to be held from the third week of July and the state government is yet to finalise the dates.
As the previous YSRC government presented a vote-on-account budget earlier, it would last up to July end. The new NDA government has to present a general budget for the period from August 2024 to March 31, 2024, and accordingly, it has to hold a budget session to pass the budget.
As the government has made poll promises, it has to make new laws on certain issues and repeal the AP Land Titling Act.
