AP Assembly Sessions from November 11
Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh Assembly sessions are set to commence on November 11, with the state government scheduled to present the annual budget at 10 AM on the same day. This marks a significant development for the Telugu Desam-led NDA government formed four months ago. The current vote-on-account budget, in effect since the previous administration, is set to expire at the end of November.
In this context, the Chandrababu Naidu government is preparing to present a comprehensive budget on the first day of the sessions. Following the budget presentation, assembly sessions are expected to continue for at least ten additional days, during which the government will introduce various bills along with the budget proposal.
After the TD-led NDA coalition government took the reins, a vote-on-account budget was again approved in July due to a deteriorating financial situation, with a temporary budget sanctioned by the Governor for four months until November.
As the deadline approaches, the coalition government is poised to present its full budget, aiming to address the financial challenges ahead and set the course for the state's fiscal policy.
