AP: 'Blacklisted' babus denied nod to meet CM Naidu

Vijayawada: Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu refused to meet several IAS and IPS officials who were accused of favouring the YSRC in the past five years of rule by Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Several senior officers lined up to meet Chandrababu on his first day at the state secretariat in Velagapudi in Amaravati on Thursday.

IAS officers Ajay Jain, Y. Srilakshmi and K.V.V. Satyanarayana and IPS officers P.S.R. Anjaneyulu and P.V. Sunil Kumar, who had allegedly took controversial decisions, came to the first block of the Secretariat when Chandrababu Naidu arrived there, and sought a meeting with the CM.

Ajay Jain had reportedly given a statement to the CID against Naidu. There are allegations that PSR Anjaneyulu, who served as the intelligence chief, had fully been involved in the “conspiracies” by the previous dispensation against Chandrababu Naidu.

Srilakshmi, who served as special chief secretary to the municipal department, has allegedly colluded with Jagan Mohan Reddy and CMO officials to commit “large-scale corruption.” K.V.V. Satyanarayana has been accused of manipulations in the finance department.

These officials left the place after the Chief Minister's Office rejected them permission to meet Naidu.
