AP CM Congratulates Himanta Biswa Sarma On 2nd Term As Assam CM

VIJAYAWADA: Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday participated in the swearing-in ceremony of Himanta Biswa Sarma as the chief minister of Assam and conveyed his best wishes to the NDA leadership following its electoral success there.


Taking to the social media platform X after the ceremony, Naidu congratulated Sarma on assuming office once again and praised the NDA for securing a “remarkable hat-trick” in Assam.


Naidu said the NDA governments across the country were working in coordination with the Centre to accelerate development, improve governance and strengthen national progress under the PM’s leadership.

Education minister Nara Lokesh also attended the oath-taking ceremony in Guwahati and conveyed his greetings on the formation of the new government.

On his social media page, Lokesh congratulated Sarma on assuming office for a second term and wished continued progress and prosperity for the people of Assam.


In Guwahati, Lokesh also met Union roads minister Nitin Gadkari at the airport and praised his contributions towards infrastructure development.

“Thank you, sir, for your warm words of appreciation for the work being done in Andhra Pradesh under the leadership of our chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu. Your encouragement means a lot to us as we work towards building world-class infrastructure and accelerating growth in AP,” Lokesh stated in his social media post.
