Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan registered a victory from Pithapuram Assembly constituency with a majority of aboave 75,000 votes. Following the victory, his wife, Anna Lezheneva, gave harathi to him after applying vermilion to his forehead, at their residence.
It is a tradition to apply vermilion and give harathi to those winning any significant event and even while setting out an important task, wishing them good luck. Accordingly, his wife performed the same at their residence in Hyderabad.
Anna and Pawan's son Akira Nandan also expressed their gratitude to the Mega fans who thronged their residence following Pawan's victory in the 2024 Assembly polls.
Meanwhile, Pawan's siblings celebrated his victory by arranging for community viewing at the Mega brothers' residence in Hyderabad. Their relatives and close family friends were also invited and all of them watched the TV as the election results unfolded since this morning.
