AP: Father Kills Elderly Man After Alleged Misbehavior with His Daughter

According to the details, Anjaneya Prasad and his wife, Chandrakala, were residing in Kuwait while their daughter was staying at the house of his sister, Lakshmi, and her husband, Venkataramana, in Andhra Pradesh. It was reported that Venkataramana's father, Anjaneyulu, had misbehaved with their daughter.

The child told her mother, Chandrakala, about the incident, but Lakshmi did not respond when questioned about it. Concerned about the lack of action, Chandrakala traveled to Andhra Pradesh, where she filed a complaint at the Obulavaripalli police station. The police, however, only counseled the accused and let him go.

Disturbed by the police inaction, Anjaneya Prasad decided to take matters into his own hands. On Saturday, he returned to India and attacked Anjaneyulu with an iron rod while the elderly man was sleeping at his house.

After the incident, Anjaneya Prasad returned to Kuwait and released a video explaining the whole incident, stating that he would return to India to surrender to the authorities. The police have registered a suspicious death case in connection with the killing.
