Vijayawada:AP State Fibernet Limited former managing director M. Madhusudhan Reddy has been placed under suspension by the state government.
The state government issued an order suspending the former MD, stating that he violated the norms of the Central service. The official also faced the allegations of irregularities in the AP Fibernet causing revenue loss to the state exchequer. The official allegedly tried to cover up his involvement in the graft.
The state government wrote a letter to the Railway Board chairman to extend his deputation by six months as part of the inquiry.
