AP Govt Orders High-Level Probe into Actress Case Amid Allegations Against Police
Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh government on Thursday initiated a probe into a case involving a Mumbai actress, following significant public interest and allegations against police officers. The Chief Minister's Office (CMO) has ordered a high-level investigation, directing the Vijayawada Commissioner of Police, Rajasekhar, to oversee a comprehensive inquiry.
K. Sravanthi Roy, Assistant Commissioner of Police, CCS, has been appointed as the enquiry officer and instructed to thoroughly investigate the details and submit a report at the earliest.
Officials have encouraged those with complaints related to the case to submit them online to facilitate a thorough examination of all aspects. The involvement of police officers in the allegations has prompted the authorities to ensure a meticulous investigation.
