AP Govt Sets Uniform Oil Prices: Palm at Rs 110, Sunflower Rs 124
Vijayawada:Minister for civil supplies Nadendla Manohar announced that the price of palm oil has been set at ₹110 per liter and sunflower oil at ₹124 per liter. He instructed market officials to ensure clear signage indicating these prices for transparency. The Minister urged the public to take advantage of the essential commodities offered at fair prices by the government.
During a surprise inspection of several Rythu Bazars in Vijayawada, including the Patamata and APIIC Colony locations, Minister Manohar assessed the quality and pricing of essential goods. He revealed that the state government has decided to implement uniform pricing across all Rythu Bazars from Srikakulam to Chittoor, benefiting all 1.49 crore ration cardholders.
He emphasized the importance of displaying price boards at every shop to maintain transparency and warned that any violations would lead to strict action.
