AP High Court allows YS Jagan to renew passport for 5 years

Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh High Court on Wednesday allowed former chief minister and YSRC chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to renew his passport for five years. The court on Monday reserved orders in the petition filed by YS Jagan challenging the conditions imposed by the special court for cases on MPs and MLAs for issuing No Objection Certificate (NOC) for the renewal of his passport.

Jagan challenged the conditions imposed by the special court contending that granting an NOC for one year is beyond its jurisdiction as the CBI court had given him an NOC for five years.
