AP leaders hail historic victory as India clinches T20 World Cup

VISAKHAPATNAM: India's historic win in the T-20 World Cup final has sparked jubilation across the nation, with leaders from Andhra Pradesh offering their heartfelt congratulations to the victorious team.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandra Babu Naidu took to X stating, "The Indian Cricket team has created history today. My heartfelt congratulations to @imro45 [Rohit Sharma], the entire team and support staff, who have achieved the dream of winning the coveted T20 World Cup after 17 years. Thank you for immersing our nation in joy and celebration! #T20WorldCup #INDvSA"

Deputy Chief Minister Konidela Pawan Kalyan chimed in with a celebratory tweet, "Congratulations to the Indian team for winning the T20 World Cup for the second time and becoming the world champion. Rohit Sena's success in upholding the aspirations of 140 crore Indians will go down in history. In the final match against South Africa, the way the team performed as a whole was amazing.”

Adding to the chorus of praise, former chief minister and YSRCP chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy congratulated the team for its hard work and perseverance. "It is a great moment for every Indian, as this is a historic win in the ICC World Cup final," Reddy said in his message. He further acknowledged that Rohit Sharma and his team ended India's 11-year wait for a major trophy.
