AP: Man detained for moving suspiciously at Gannavaram airport

Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh police on Saturday picked up a person at Gannavaram airport for moving suspiciously during the visit of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Sources said the person in question has been identified as Lokesh, who was allegedly found to be sharing details related to foreign trip of Jagan Mohan Reddy to persons known to him.

On Tuesday, a special court for CBI cases granted permission to Jagan Mohan Reddy to visit the UK from May 17 to June 1 with family members. The court gave permission in response to a petition filed by Jagan Mohan Reddy seeking permission to visit the UK. He would return to Andhra Pradesh on June 1 three days before the counting of votes on June 4.

Jagan Mohan Reddy completed the high-octane election campaign last week highlighting the priorities of YSRCP’s government if reelected once again. He also explained in detail the failures of the TDP in implementing the promises made in its manifesto in 2014.

Jagan Mohan Reddy wrapped up the election campaign in Pithapuram where the actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan contested the elections and the results would be declared on June 4.
