AP: Minister Kondapalli Srinivas Asks Women Entrepreneurs to Drive Economic Growth

Vijayawada: Small and medium enterprises minister Kondapalli Srinivas has emphasised the importance of recognising and supporting women entrepreneurs in the industrial sector for driving the state's economic and social growth.

Inaugurating the national-level Women Intellectual Property Business Conference –2024 on Tuesday, the minister underlined that the state government is committed to creating a supportive ecosystem for women entrepreneurs, including access to training, access to resources and financial support.

"The role of women in small and medium industrial sector is crucial for economic and social development of the country," Srinivas said.

He stressed on the importance of intellectual property in business environment, describing it as a key tool for success of a business in a globalised world. "Protecting women-led innovation is essential for creating long-term growth and value creation," he said.

The minister assured that the government will break down barriers for entrepreneurs to succeed in the competitive market. "Your success is our success. Your growth is the benchmark for development of the country," he added.
