Vijayawada: Minister for industries T.G. Bharath has called for the development of industrial parks to attract investors.
During a meeting with general managers and zonal managers of industrial parks from Tirupati, Chittoor, Vijayawada, Guntur, Kurnool, Kadapa, Puttaparthi, and Anantapur at the APIIC office in Mangalagiri on Thursday, the minister emphasised the need to enhance these parks with basic amenities to draw investment. He noted that numerous industrialists are showing interest in investing in Andhra Pradesh under Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s leadership.
The minister reviewed the sites at Orvakal, Kopparthi, and other locations, and inquired about the available land in each park. He stressed the importance of preventing encroachments and directed officials to install boards displaying the total area and layout of each industrial park.
