Vijayawada: NDA Rajya Sabha candidates filed their nominations on Tuesday. The TDP has fielded Bida Masthan Rao and Sana Sathish, while the BJP has chosen BC leader R. Krishnaiah as its candidate. Minister Atchannaidu, along with several MLAs, accompanied them during the nomination process.
Speaking on the occasion, the candidates expressed their commitment to the state's growth and thanked their respective parties for the opportunity. "We fully support Chandrababu Naidu's efforts for the development of Andhra Pradesh," they stated.
With today being the last date for filing nominations, their election to the Rajya Sabha is considered a formality, as the YSRCP has chosen to distance itself from the election process.
