AP to Be Made Cancer-Free State Under Aarogya Andhra Pradesh: Satya Yadav

“The state will be transformed as Aarogya-Andhra Pradesh and our aim is a cancer-free state,” he said after taking charge of his departments at the Secretariat in Velagapudi on Sunday.
The minister said steps would be taken to provide better medical services along the lines of AIIMS in all government hospitals. “We would provide the necessary staff and improve the infrastructure.”
The minister said that every year, on average, 48,000 people died of cancer in AP. My first signature was given today to provide screening to 5.30 crore people for the prevention of oral, breast and cervical cancers and to spread awareness among the people.
