AP under 'Red Book' rule, law and order failure in AP: Perni Nani

Vijayawada: Former minister Perni Venkatramaiah, known as Nani, declared on Monday that Andhra Pradesh is now governed by the "Red Book" constitution, not the Constitution of Babasaheb Ambedkar.

Speaking from the party’s central office in Vijayawada, he criticised the current state of law and order under the coalition government led by Chandrababu Naidu.
Nani highlighted the murder of YSRC worker Subbarayudu in Mahanandi mandal of Nandyal district as an example of government-sponsored violence. He accused the government of failing to maintain law and order, pointing to numerous instances where the police either failed to act or were complicit in the violence.
Nani expressed outrage over the increasing attacks on police officers by ruling party leaders, stating that such incidents have become a daily occurrence in Andhra Pradesh. He recalled the incident in Seetharampuram, where pleas for police protection went unanswered until after a murder had occurred.
The former minister accused the coalition government of using the police force as a tool for political repression rather than maintaining public safety.
