VIJAYAWADA: The Andhra Pradesh High Court has completed hearings on the bail plea of former MP Nandigam Suresh in connection with a murder case. The court is expected to announce its verdict on November 6.
A single judge bench, led by Justice VRK Krupa Sagar, conducted the hearing. The case stems from the murder of Mariamma, a resident of Velagapudi village in Thullur mandal, Guntur district, on December 27, 2020. Based on her son's complaint, Suresh was named as accused number 78 and was arrested recently.

HC Grants Anticipatory Bail to Rajampet MP Peddireddy Mithun Reddy
VIJAYAWADA: The Andhra Pradesh High Court has granted anticipatory bail to Rajampet MP Peddireddy Mithun Reddy and others in connection with a violence case in Punganur.
During a hearing on Tuesday, Justice VRK Krupa Sagar granted conditional pre-arrest bail. The court mandated the submission of two personal sureties of Rs 10,000 each and required the MP to report to the inquiry officer monthly on the 1st and 15th days for the next three months or until a chargesheet is filed, whichever comes first.
Other leaders, including Naveen Kumar Raju and Hari Prasad Reddy, were also granted bail.
