APJAC demands appointment of 12th PRC Commissioner, fulfilment of election manifesto

Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh Joint Action Committee-Amaravati (APJAC-Amaravati) urged the government to appoint the 12th PRC Commissioner and announce the Fitment as per the election manifesto. It also demanded the resolution of pending dues for retired employees and the families of deceased employees by December 31, 2024.

During its 8th state general meeting at the Vijayawada Revenue Bhavan, chaired by Bopparaju Venkateswarlu, the APJAC-Amaravati passed several resolutions. It requested the government to display pending dues, including Dearness Allowance (DA), PRC arrears, General Provident Fund (GPF), Andhra Pradesh Government Life Insurance (APGLI), and earned leave balances, in employees' pay slips.
The meeting also discussed the Employees Health Scheme (EHS), regularisation of contract employees in the Medical Department, and the transition to the Old Pension Scheme, benefiting 12,000 employees.
Secretary General Palisetti Damodara Rao, Associate Chairman TV Phani Perraju, and other leaders addressed the gathering.
