APSRTC chief engineer, IT, Y Srinivasa Rao received the award on behalf of APSRTC chairman and managing director Ch Dwaraka Tirumala Rao from Sanjay Kumar, secretary, Education Department (GoI), and Sameer, SKOCH International Group chairman.
APSRTC received the prestigious SKOCH award for the 2024 edition for implementing cashless transactions, issuing paperless tickets through a mobile application, providing digital tickets on buses, and introducing tracking systems across all buses operated by the organisation.
