Army bikers embark on 13-day ‘Dare2’ Ayodhya rally

Visakhapatnam:Bikers from the Indian Armed Forces in association with corporate company Bajaj Auto embarked on the ‘Dare2’ rally to Ayodhya in a 13-day adventure ride that was flagged off by Chief of Staff, Eastern Naval Command Vice Admiral Sameer Saxena, in Visakhapatnam on Monday.

This rally celebrates the daring spirit of the Indian Armed Forces with an objective to foster a sense of adventure. The 13-day rally from Visakhapatnam to Ayodhya, spanning 1649 kilometres, traverses through INS Chilka, Bhubaneswar, Jamshedpur, Ranchi, Gaya, and Varanasi, culminating at the Dogra Regiment in Ayodhya on Republic Day, fostering strong affiliation with the Dogras of the Indian Army.

The initiative fosters the strong affiliation with The Dogra Regiment. The expedition aims to propagate the Chief of the Naval Staff’s message of 'Mental Health and Wellness,' encouraging individuals to prioritise emotional well-being and resilience.

This ride allows the armed forces to connect with local communities to build awareness about the Indian Navy and motivate the youth to serve their nation with the highest honours. Vice Admiral Sameer Saxena said the rally ignited passion for the armed forces amongst young Indians.
