Anantapur: Singanamala MLA Bandaru Sravani Sri distributed pension money to elderly citizens, individuals with disabilities, and single women as part of the NTR Bharosa Pension Distribution Program. The event was held at Gourayya Kottalu Colony and R.D.T. High School in Bukkarayasamudram Mandal of Ananthapuram district.
Addressing the gathering, MLA Sravani Sri criticized the previous government for failing to provide unclaimed pensions to the poor. She explained that under the current coalition government, if beneficiaries miss collecting one month’s pension, they receive two months’ pension the following month. Additionally, up to three months’ pension can be disbursed at once. If beneficiaries fail to claim their pensions even after this, they can reapply to renew their benefits, she said.
Mandal TDP Convener Avvari Ashok, former ZPTC Ramalingareddy, and other leaders participated in the program.
