Vijayawada:The Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly has passed a resolution to name Bhogapuram International Airport after freedom fighter Alluri Seetharama Raju.
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu praised Alluri's valiant efforts against the British and stressed the importance of honouring his legacy. The Chief Minister revealed plans for a memorial museum and a proposal for a statue of Alluri in Parliament.
Naidu criticised delays in the airport project over the past five years and emphasised the significance of commemorating Alluri’s contributions to the nation
