BJP MLAs slams YSRC legislators for disrupting Governor’s address

Vishnu Kumar Raju objected to YSRC legislators rushing towards the podium, tearing and throwing pieces of paper, and creating ruckus when the Governor had been making his customary address to the legislature

Vijayawada: Three BJP MLAs, including Vishnu Kumar Raju from Visakhapatnam North constituency, who is the party’s floor leader AP Legislative Assembly, slammed YSR Congress MLAs and MLCs for their disruptive behaviour when Governor S. Abdul Nazeer had been addressing the joint session of the AP legislature on Monday.

Vishnu Kumar Raju objected to YSRC legislators rushing towards the podium, tearing and throwing pieces of paper, and creating ruckus when the Governor had been making his customary address to the legislature.

The BJP MLA found fault with the opposition MLAs and MLCs for not having even the basic knowledge of not disrupting the Governor’s address.

Another BJP MLA from Adoni V. Parthasarathi said it is because of such behaviour that people of AP decided not to give the leader of opposition status to former CM Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Etcherla BJP MLA N. Eeswara Rao remarked that Jagan Mohan Reddy had arrived at the assembly only to sign the attendance register. He demanded an apology from the YSR Congress legislators for disrupting the Governor’s address.
