Chandrababu Naidu Begins New Year With Rs 24 Cr CMRF Aid
VIJAYAWADA: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu appended his first signature on the first day of the New Year to release ₹24 crore to benefit 1,600 poor individuals under the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) on Wednesday.
Since assuming office in June 2024, the Telugu Desam (TD)-led NDA government, under the leadership of Naidu, has released ₹100 crore to assist 7,523 individuals under the CMRF scheme up to 31 December. With the addition of the newly released ₹24 crore, the total amount released by the TD-led NDA government under the CMRF scheme now stands at ₹124.16 crore, benefiting 9,123 individuals across the state.
The CMRF is aimed at providing financial assistance to individuals affected by natural calamities, suffering from health problems, or facing other hardships.
