After launching the programme, over 1,090 complaints were received

Kuppam: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is committed to addressing people's grievances.

Taking a step in this direction, he launched Jana Nayakudu programme in Kuppam. The public can bring their grievances to the notice of the authorities directly or through WhatsApp, they would be registered in a portal.

All the grievances would be resolved in a definite time frame by aligning the Public Grievance Redressal System (PGRS) with RTGS.

Naidu hoped that this system would be the perfect platform to deliver good governance.

The TD activists who went door-to-door to know about people's problems would now go the respective houses and inform them about the grievances being addressed.

He said that the programme would be taken up on an experimental basis in his native Kuppam constituency. Basing on the results, the programme would be extended to other places.

After launching the programme, over 1,090 complaints were received.

Speaking to the mediapersons, Naidu said that agreements were signed for setting up Mother Dairy at a cost of Rs 105 crore, Srija Mahila Dairy Producers Federation at a cost of Rs 233 crore, Aalip, Easy Mart and TCS in Kuppam.

He said that he was collecting public opinion about the implementation of welfare programmes through IVRS. He urged the officials to remember that it is political governance and wanted them to work with commitment.

For the first time, the TD has crossed the 1 crore members registration, he said.
