Chandrababu Naidu's brother Ramamurthy Naidu passes away
Hyderabad: Ramamurthy Naidu, elder brother of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, passed away on Saturday in Hyderabad after a prolonged illness. He had been hospitalised three days earlier due to cardio-respiratory issues and was on a ventilator, according to hospital sources.
A prominent figure in Andhra Pradesh politics, Ramamurthy Naidu served as the MLA for the Chandragiri constituency from 1994 to 1999, representing the Telugu Desam Party (TDP). He played an active role in strengthening the party's grassroots presence during his tenure.
In addition to his political legacy, Ramamurthy Naidu is also known as the father of actor and producer Nara Rohit, an alumnus of the New York Film Academy, who has contributed to Telugu cinema with various films.
