CHC to be upgraded as 100-bed hospital, says tourism minister
Kakinada:The community health centre at Nidadavole would be upgraded as a 100-bed facility with better infrastructure support, Tourism Minister Kandula Durgesh has said.
The minister inaugurated the X-ray unit installed at a cost of `3 lakh there on Friday. He said more than 200 patients visited the hospital daily to avail the medical services. "Hence, its upgradation is a must. I have discussed this matter with the health minister as also secretary to the department. They would do the needful,” he said.
Durgesh also promised that he would arrange new X-ray tables worth `35,000. Hospital superintendent Dr Shaik Fiaz, Dr Vineel, Dr Rehna and others were present.
