CID Officials Search Former AP Beverages Corporation MD's House

Hyderabad: Crime Investigation Department officials conducted searches at the residence of former Andhra Pradesh Beverages Corporation Managing Director Donthireddy Vasudeva Reddy in Nanakramguda on Friday.
He is alleged to have favored a political party to profit from the new liquor policy in the state and was instrumental in introducing the J brand in government wine stores.
On April 17, the Election Commission of India (ECI) transferred Vasudeva Reddy from the post of APSBCL MD in response to the allegations of misconduct related to the distribution of liquor.
