CJ Diraj Singh Lauds Services of Retiring Judge Justice Shyam Sundar
Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh High Court Chief Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur has lauded the services of High Court Judge Justice B. Shyam Sundar for resolving several comprehensive cases.
Taking part in a programme held on the court premises here on Friday to mark the superannuation of Justice Shyam Sundar on Sunday, the CJ has appreciated the retiring judge for upholding the high moral values and following the integrity while serving in the judiciary.
Justice Shyam Sundar thanked his parents, family members, Chief Justice, judges and advocates for helping him grow from the beginning of his career as a lawyer to the judge of the AP High Court. He also thanked all those who helped him to discharge his duty to provide justice to the people.
Advocate-General Dammalapati Srinivas, AP High Court Lawyers’ Union president K. Chidambaram, AP Bar Council president Dwarakanath Reddy and others lauded the services of the retiring judge.
Justice Shyam Sundar was born in the lawyers’ family in Anantapur district and got his law degree in Gulbarga of Karnataka in 1986. He registered himself as a lawyer in the same year and started his career as a lawyer. He worked as a munsif magistrate and district judge in several districts and served as a judge in the metropolitan court in Vijayawada. He served in the High Court as a judge from 2022.
