CJI, 25 SC Judges to Visit Araku on January 12

Visakhapatnam: Chief Justice of India Sanjeev Khanna, along with 25 other Supreme Court judges, will visit Araku Valley, Borra Caves, and other tourist spots on January 12, according to ASR district collector A.S. Dinesh Kumar.

Ninth Additional Sessions judge Chodavaram Ratna Kumar and joint collector Abhishek Goud visited the Tribal Museum on Monday to review the arrangements.

The CJI and the judges will board a train in Visakhapatnam and arrive at Araku Valley at 10:45 am. They are scheduled to visit the Tribal Museum and Giri Grama Darshini. The collector mentioned that the delegation might interact with Adivasis and sample the famous Araku Coffee at Giri Grama Darshini. Later, they will visit Borra Caves.

The collector also stated that local residents and tourists will not be allowed entry into the Tribal Museum and Giri Grama Darshini on January 12. Security arrangements will be enhanced during the visit of the judges.
