CM Naidu asks alliance leaders to work hard for MLC polls win
MLC elections will be held in the combined Godavari and Krishna-Guntur graduates' constituencies, as well as in the Srikakulam-Vizianagaram-Visakhapatnam teachers' constituency

VIJAYAWADA: Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has emphasized that stable governance can be achieved only through electoral victories, during a teleconference with NDA coalition ministers, MPs, and MLAs regarding the upcoming MLC elections.
MLC elections will be held in the combined Godavari and Krishna-Guntur graduates' constituencies, as well as in the Srikakulam-Vizianagaram-Visakhapatnam teachers' constituency.
Naidu asked the NDA parties to organise coordination meetings to boost the chances of alliance candidates' success.
The notification for the MLC elections will be released on February 3. The voting is scheduled for the 27th and counting of votes on March 3rd.
Naidu cautioned alliance leaders against overconfidence, urging coordinated action between the three parties at various levels. It's vital to engage with clusters, units, booth in-charges, and leaders from Jana Sena and BJP committees to strengthen alliances, he advised TD leaders.
Newly elected MLAs and fresh political entrants should work with utmost integrity and dedication, the CM said and highlighted the necessity to explain the state government's development and welfare oriented programmes to the people.
Naidu said, “While progress doesn't happen overnight, we are rectifying systemic issues with support from the central government like investing in the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, the financial assistance for Amaravati, the funds for Polavaram and other development and welfare initiatives. The Job First policy has been introduced alongside new industrial policies to bolster job creation.”
