Vijayawada: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has called upon the companies dealing with electronic gadgets to carry out repair works to the flood-damaged electronic gadgets free of cost and offer spare parts at a discount.
Naidu held a meeting with company representatives at the NTR District Collectorate on Tuesday. He said, “If all the electronic firms come up on a single platform and extend service to the affected people, it would give good results.”
He said, “If you do this, your brand will earn goodwill. Set up the helplines, company wise, and depute more technicians to carry out the repair works here. Fix a target for a week and take up work.” The companies, in response, promised to set up special service helplines for the flood-hit.
