Vijayawada: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has launched the ManaBadi monthly magazine, designed by the AP School Education Department and the AP Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan.
The launch took place during the Mega Parent-Teacher Meeting organised in Bapatla district on Saturday, said AP Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan State Project Director B Srinivasa Rao here.
Rao said ManaBadi will feature drawings, short stories, novels, songs, innovations, and games created by students. It will also highlight success stories of students, awards and prizes won by them, and essays written by teachers and academicians to inspire students.
Srinivasa Rao would be the editor, with senior journalist Challa Madhusudana Rao as the working editor and Ganesh Behara as the PRO. Officials from the school education department and Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan will act as honorary advisers, while the advisory panel and editorial committee will oversee the publishing of ManaBadi.
The magazine will be distributed to all government-run schools across the state, and an e-copy will be made available on WhatsApp and other social media platforms. The online edition of the magazine can be accessed at www.schooledu.ap.gov.in/samagrashiksha and cse.ap.gov.in.
Srinivasa Rao urged teachers, academicians and students to submit their contributions to the AP Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan State Office at KBC Boys High School Compound, Patamata, Vijayawada, NTR District, AP, PIN: 520010.
