CM Naidu urges Chaganti to imbibe moral values among students, youth

Vijayawada: Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has urged spiritual preacher Chaganti Koteswara Rao to help imbibe moral values among the students and youth in the state.

Rao, who conducts discourses on Sanatana Dharma and currently functions as state government adviser on students’ ethics and values, paid a courtesy call on the chief minister at the state Secretariat here on Monday.

The Chief Minister urged Rao to organise special programmes to inculcate moral values and deliver discourses in schools, colleges and universities to bring out the good among the youth.

The CM underlined the need for the young generation to learn about the good sides of the Indian family system.
He wanted youths to be educated on traits like respecting women and parents.
Rao promised the CM to organise special classes to teach students and youths the ‘Sumathi-Vemana Sathakalu’ moral stories. He said he discussed his plans in this respect with education minister Nara Lokesh.
The spiritual preacher met the CM for the first time after assuming charge as government adviser. Naidu facilitated him with a shawl and offered him a portrait of lord Venkateswara.
