CM Naidu urges officials to collaborate with positive energy to improve living standards of the poor

Vijayawada: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu urged senior officials to work together with positive energy to enhance the living standards of the people and bring about transformative changes in their lives.In a meeting with chief secretary K. Vijayanand, DGP Dwaraka Tirumala Rao, senior officials from the Chief Minister’s Office, and principal secretaries from various departments on the eve of New Year, the CM emphasised the importance of implementing reforms to improve the lives of the people. He highlighted that incorporating technology would yield excellent results, motivating the officials by sharing his experiences in implementing government policies.

Naidu outlined the targets and working approach for the year 2025, stressing the need for an action plan and result-oriented efforts from every department.
Addressing misconceptions about reforms being anti-poor during the undivided Andhra Pradesh, CM Naidu spoke about the bold steps taken in initiating reforms that transformed the lives of the poor. He recalled the reforms started when Atal Bihari Vajpayee was the prime minister, noting their contributions to national highways and civil aviation through the open sky policy. He also credited the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model for creating wealth and employment opportunities, citing the ongoing benefits of past development in Hyderabad.
In response to suggestions from senior officials, the CM agreed to appoint a senior IAS officer as a nodal officer to monitor the activities of large companies with significant investments to expedite their establishment. He also accepted the proposal to streamline the use of CSR funds for developmental works in the state.
