Anantapur:Anantapur district collector Dr. Vinod Kumar visited the Nehru Yuva Kendra here on Friday and reviewed its core programmes, such as Yuva Utsav and District Youth Parliament.
He interacted with the programme in-charge Srinivasulu, National Youth Awardee and MyGov Ambassador Bisathi Bharath, S.R. Educational Society founder Sunkara Ramesh, and President awardees Jeevan Kumar and Jaya Maruthi.
Speaking on the occasion, the collector asked youth of Anantapur to be at the forefront of taking internships with central and state departments and know about policies and delivery of various government services.
Dr. Vinod Kumar asked youth to inculcate a positive attitude for becoming the future leaders of India. Similarly, he wanted them to become aware of social issues and use social media for good causes.
The collector planted saplings along with the youth at the Nehru Yuva Kendra office as part of protecting the environment.
