Kurnool: Thieves stole a computer and printer from the Nallamada circle inspector's office in the Sri Sathyasai district during the early hours of Thursday. The office staff was shocked to discover that these items were missing when they opened the office.
It was revealed that the staff had left the office without locking the doors the previous night, making it easy for the thieves to loot the premises. The incident has raised suspicions, especially since there were two sentries on night duty.
The stolen computer contained crucial information related to Nallamada, Obuladevaracheruvu and Amadaguru police stations under the Nallamada circle. Top police officials are now focused on how to recover the lost data. Sri Sathyasai district superintendent of police V. Ratna has confirmed that a case has been registered and an investigation is underway regarding the theft.
