Daily Wage Worker Dies Of Suspected Sunstroke In Konaseema

According to reports, she collapsed while working and was immediately shifted to a nearby primary health centre, where doctors declared her dead.

KAKINADA: A 57-year-old daily wage worker under the Viksit Bharat–Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin) (VB-G RAM G), Gothangi Narsamma, died of suspected sunstroke while at work at Avidi Pedapeta in Kothapeta mandal of Konaseema district on Friday.
According to reports, she collapsed while working and was immediately shifted to a nearby primary health centre, where doctors declared her dead.
Kothapeta MLA Bandaru Satyananda Rao visited the hospital and expressed condolences to the bereaved family. He termed the incident unfortunate and assured the family of all possible assistance.
